Natural History Museum

Los Angeles, CA | In progress

Overview

At the Natural History Museum, we're building a small parking lot complete with stone benches and planter areas, all of which is complimented by an underground irrigation system. Our team is carefully coordinating every step to ensure the project progresses smoothly.

The approach

We began with a deep analysis of the site and the project-specific needs. The estimating team created a detailed plan, incorporating value engineering to keep cost and quality at a balance. Coordination with the museum's management and contractors were essential for scheduling and management of the logistics.

During installation, project managers designated a team to handle the monumental tasks of craning in trees and installing an underground irrigation system. Our meticulous approach to planning and execution will ensure the smooth progression of this project despite the site's constraints and set backs.

The goal

The goal is to create an outdoor space that is both functional and attractive — one that complements the museum and provides a pleasant environment for visitors even in the mundane moments of their trip. The stone benches and planter areas will enhance the museum's exterior, offering both practical and visual benefits.
